AI for Google Ads

The AI agent for Google Ads

Adstudio's AI assistant connects to your Google Ads account, reads your real campaign data, and answers in plain language. It proposes changes — pausing keywords, adjusting budgets, adding negatives — and nothing runs until you confirm.

Examples

What you can ask it

Every answer comes from your live Google Ads account data — campaigns, keywords, search terms, and spend — not generic advice.

How much am I wasting?

Scans active campaigns for zero-conversion spend, negative ROI, and ROAS below 1x, then suggests what to pause.

Show my keywords with low Quality Scores

Pulls keyword performance with a Quality Score breakdown so you can see what's dragging down your CPCs.

Which search terms are burning budget?

Lists the actual search terms triggering your ads and flags irrelevant ones worth excluding.

Add 'free' as a negative keyword

Prepares the negative keyword change and shows you a confirmation card before anything is applied.

Pause my worst-performing campaign

Identifies the underperformer from real metrics and proposes the pause — you approve or reject it.

Audit my conversion tracking

Checks your conversion setup and bidding strategies for misalignments, like sales campaigns optimizing for clicks.

Increase the budget on my brand campaign by 20%

Calculates the new budget and presents a change proposal with before/after values for your approval.

Design a new Search campaign for my product

Drafts a complete Google Ads campaign — structure, keywords, ad copy — that you review and edit before creating.

How It Works

From question to approved change

The assistant analyzes freely, but acts only with your approval.

  1. 1

    Connect your account

Link your ad account to Adstudio in a couple of minutes using the platform's official API. Read access first — no changes are made on connect.

  2. 2

    Ask in plain language

No query builders or report wizards. Type the question the way you'd ask a colleague: "how much did I spend last week?" or "what should I pause?"

  3. 3

The AI reads your real data

The assistant queries your live account — campaigns, metrics, spend — and grounds every answer in your actual numbers, not generic best practices.

  4. 4

    It proposes actions

When a change makes sense, the assistant prepares it as a proposal card showing exactly what would change, with before and after values.

  5. 5

    You confirm — or reject

Nothing executes without your approval. Every write action has explicit Confirm and Reject buttons; reject it and your account stays untouched.

Can I use ChatGPT or Claude for Google Ads?

You can ask ChatGPT or Claude general questions about Google Ads — what a Quality Score is, how Target ROAS bidding works. What they can't do out of the box is read your account. A generic chatbot has no access to your campaigns, keywords, search terms, or spend, so its advice is disconnected from what's actually happening in your account.

Adstudio's assistant is connected to your Google Ads account through the official Google Ads API. When you ask "how much am I wasting?", it queries your real campaigns and metrics before answering. And when it proposes an action — pausing a keyword, changing a budget — it shows a confirmation card first. Nothing executes without your approval.

If you'd rather bring your own AI, agent access to your ad accounts via MCP (Model Context Protocol) is on our roadmap — so tools like Claude could read your Adstudio-connected ad data directly. It's not shipped yet; today, the assistant lives inside Adstudio.

Google Ads AI FAQ

Common questions about using AI with Google Ads.

Want a demo of Adstudio? Book a demo

Is there an AI for Google Ads?

Yes. Adstudio includes an AI assistant that connects to your Google Ads account and works with your real data: campaign performance, keyword Quality Scores, search terms, wasted-spend analysis, and conversion-tracking audits. It can also propose actions like pausing keywords, adding negatives, or changing budgets — each one requires your confirmation before it runs.

Can Claude manage my Google Ads?

Not on its own — Claude has no access to your Google Ads account. Adstudio's assistant connects to your account through the Google Ads API, so it can read real data and propose real changes. Every change goes through an explicit confirm step.

Can ChatGPT optimize my Google Ads campaigns?

ChatGPT can give general optimization advice, but it can't see your campaigns, so it can't tell you which of your keywords waste money or which campaigns to pause. Tools like Adstudio close that gap by connecting an AI model to your actual account data.

What is a Google Ads MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to external data sources and tools. A Google Ads MCP server would expose your ads data to an AI assistant so it can answer questions about your account. Google doesn't offer an official one; Adstudio provides this capability inside its own assistant today, and MCP-based agent access to your connected ad accounts is on our roadmap.

Will the AI change my campaigns without asking?

No. The assistant is read-first: it fetches and analyzes data freely, but every write action — pausing, budget changes, adding keywords, deleting entities — is presented as a change proposal with Confirm/Reject buttons. Nothing executes without your explicit approval.

How is this different from Google's built-in AI recommendations?

Google's recommendations optimize for Google's objectives and live inside a complex UI. Adstudio's assistant answers your questions conversationally, cross-references Google Ads with Meta in one place, and explains the reasoning behind each suggestion — with you approving every change.
