What you can ask

Ask about your ChatGPT Ads.

ChatGPT Ads is a new channel with its own reporting, so comparing it with search and social means copying numbers by hand.

  • Which conversation topics drive the most clicks on our ChatGPT ads?
  • Which placements get the best click-through rate?
  • How does cost per click on ChatGPT compare with Google Search this month?
  • Which ad variations should we pause because nobody clicks?

FAQ

ChatGPT Ads MCP, answered.

ChatGPT Ads, also called OpenAI Ads, are ads shown inside ChatGPT conversations. Adstudio reads their performance like any other channel.

Yes. Ask one question and your agent reads both. Each number keeps its own currency and date range, so the comparison is fair.

No. ChatGPT Ads is the ad channel you buy media on. ChatGPT the assistant is where you can ask the questions. You can use both at once.

Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok Ads, ChatGPT Ads, DV360, Pinterest Ads and Shopify. Answers stay separate, source-labelled reads: currencies, attribution models and periods are never mixed into one invented number.

You decide. Choose Read only or Read and write in Adstudio Settings → MCP. With Read and write, changes happen only where Adstudio has a verified way to make them, and only in workspaces where you are an admin.

Start with account discovery, then explicitly choose one workspace, platform, and account for every scoped call. The server never guesses an account on your behalf.

A personal connection reaches the workspaces you are a member of, now and in the future. It never goes beyond your own role in each one, and turning MCP off in Settings ends every client's access at once.
